We are a growing footwear manufacturing unit looking for a part-time Footwear Merchandiser who has a good understanding of footwear materials, components, and sourcing processes.
This role is ideal for someone who is familiar with the footwear industry and enjoys working hands-on with materials, vendors, and product coordination. Since this is a flexible part-time position, applicants are welcome to take up other projects or work alongside this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Source footwear materials and components based on production requirements and order line-ups
- Visit local marketplaces and vendors to procure materials
- Coordinate with suppliers regarding pricing, availability, and timelines
- Work closely with the office and production team for smooth execution
- Maintain material records and updates for ongoing orders
- Ensure timely sourcing while maintaining quality standards
Requirements:
- Basic understanding of footwear construction and materials
- Familiarity with materials such as uppers, linings, soles, trims, accessories, etc.
- Good coordination and communication skills
- Ability to travel locally for sourcing and vendor visits
- Prior experience in footwear merchandising or sourcing is preferred

Pay: ₹5,000.00 - ₹10,000.00 per month
