We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented 3D Designer & Animator to join our Event and AV team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing visually compelling 3D concepts, stage layouts, event environments, and animations for live events, exhibitions, corporate functions, and audiovisual installations. The candidate should be capable of transforming creative concepts into realistic 3D visualizations that support client presentations and project execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Design innovative 3D concepts for stages, event venues, exhibitions, and corporate events.
- Develop detailed 3D models, layouts, and realistic renderings for stage setups, LED walls, lighting, trussing, scenic elements, and audiovisual equipment.
- Create high-quality animations, walkthroughs, and fly-through videos for client presentations and project approvals.
- Prepare stage and event visualizations based on technical drawings, venue dimensions, and client requirements.
- Collaborate with the Sales, Design, Production, and Technical teams to develop creative event concepts.
- Incorporate lighting, textures, materials, branding, and motion graphics into designs for realistic presentations.
- Modify and optimize designs based on client feedback and project requirements.
- Coordinate with production teams to ensure design feasibility and successful execution on-site.
- Develop presentation materials, mood boards, and concept visuals for proposals and pitches.
- Maintain an organized library of 3D assets, models, textures, and project files.
- Stay updated with the latest trends in event design, stage production, animation, and visualization technologies.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Animation, Multimedia, Interior Design, Architecture, Visual Communication, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in 3D design, animation, or stage/event visualization.
- Strong portfolio showcasing stage designs, event visualizations, architectural renders, or animation projects.
- Excellent creative thinking, visualization, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in Blender, Autodesk 3ds Max, Autodesk Maya, Cinema 4D, or SketchUp.
- Strong knowledge of rendering software such as V-Ray, Corona Renderer, Arnold, Redshift, or Lumion.
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Premiere Pro).
- Knowledge of AutoCAD or similar drafting software.
- Understanding of stage construction, trussing systems, lighting fixtures, LED display systems, and AV equipment.
- Familiarity with Unreal Engine or Unity for real-time visualization is an added advantage.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in live event production, exhibitions, concerts, corporate events, or experiential marketing.
- Knowledge of event fabrication, scenic production, and venue planning.
- Understanding of lighting design principles and audiovisual integration.
- Experience creating immersive event environments and branded experiences.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
