Job Title - Production Manager

Key Roles & Responsibilities:
1. Production Planning & Control Develop and execute efficient production plans in alignment with project timelines, material availability, and manpower capacity. Ensure all fabrication activities are completed as per approved drawings and quality standards. Monitor daily production schedules, resource allocation, and output to achieve production KPIs.
2. Technical Supervision Provide expert guidance on fabrication techniques, welding methods, machining, assembly, and finishing operations. Review and interpret engineering drawings, BOMs, and technical documentation. Ensure adherence to metallurgical standards relevant to materials used in fabrication.
3. Team Leadership & Management Lead and manage production teams including engineers, supervisors, welders, and operators. Foster a culture of ownership, safety, accountability, and continuous improvement. Conduct training and skill development programs for shop floor teams.
4. Techno-Savvy Operations Leverage ERP/MRP systems, digital tools, and production dashboards to track output, identify bottlenecks, and ensure process transparency. Promote the use of technology-driven solutions to improve workflow, minimize waste, and enhance productivity.
5. New Factory Setup & Commissioning Lead and manage the complete setup of new fabrication units – including layout planning, equipment selection, installation, recruitment, and SOP development. Coordinate with internal teams and external contractors to ensure infrastructure readiness and timely commissioning. Establish production lines as per best industry practices for maximum efficiency and scalability.
6. Metallurgy & Quality Focus Apply metallurgical knowledge in material selection, process optimization, and defect analysis. Collaborate with QA/QC teams to ensure compliance with customer specifications, and internal standards. Ensure traceability and documentation for all materials and welding procedures.
7. Target-Driven Operations Set and monitor aggressive production targets in line with project schedules and client requirements. Identify potential delays or resource constraints and take proactive corrective actions. Drive a results-oriented culture focused on output, quality, and timely delivery.
8. Compliance & Safety Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations & As per ISO certification standard. Implement and monitor safety practices on the shop floor. Conduct regular audits and risk assessments to mitigate hazards
Pay: ₹18,308.26 - ₹40,000.00 per month
