- Plan, supervise, and monitor mechanical fabrication activities as per drawings and specifications.
- Read and interpret fabrication, GA, assembly, and engineering drawings.
- Prepare cutting lists, material requirements, and fabrication schedules.
- Supervise welding, cutting, bending, drilling, grinding, and assembly work.
- Ensure proper fit-up, alignment, dimensions, and welding quality.
- Coordinate with production, design, purchase, and site teams.
- Inspect fabricated equipment and ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Monitor manpower, material usage, and production timelines.
- Prepare fabrication progress reports and maintain production records.
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures and company standards.
- Troubleshoot fabrication and mechanical assembly issues.
- Support installation and commissioning activities at site when required.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
- 2–5 years of experience in mechanical fabrication.
- Knowledge of MS, SS, FRP and industrial equipment fabrication will be an advantage.
- Good knowledge of welding processes, fabrication methods, and mechanical assembly.
- Ability to read AutoCAD drawings and engineering drawings.
- Knowledge of measurement tools and fabrication inspection.
- Good communication, coordination, and team-management skills.
- Willingness to travel to project sites when required.
Preferred Experience
Experience in fabrication of ETP, STP, RO/DM plants, tanks, ducting, scrubbers, dust collectors, pipelines, and other industrial equipment will be preferred.
Pay: ₹25,075.00 - ₹70,098.00 per month
