Job Title: QC Engineer – RMC Plant (Ready Mix Concrete)

Job Summary
We are looking for a Quality Control (QC) Engineer for our Ready Mix Concrete (RMC) plant. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining product quality, conducting material testing, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform quality testing of raw materials (cement, aggregates, admixtures, water)
- Conduct fresh concrete tests (slump test, temperature, workability)
- Monitor mix design and ensure correct batching at plant
- Carry out hardened concrete tests (compressive strength, cube testing)
- Maintain lab records, test reports, and documentation
- Ensure compliance with IS standards and company quality procedures
- Coordinate with plant, site, and dispatch teams for quality issues
- Handle customer complaints related to concrete quality
- Calibration of lab equipment and plant systems
- Assist in mix design trials and optimization
Required Skills
- Knowledge of RMC plant operations
- Familiarity with IS codes (IS 456, IS 10262, etc.)
- Experience in concrete testing and mix design
- Basic computer skills (Excel, reports)
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
Qualification
- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering
Experience
- 0 to 3 years in RMC / Construction / Concrete Industry
Salary
- ₹ 18,000-25,000 per month (based on experience)
