We are looking for a Desktop Support Engineer to provide technical support and maintain IT infrastructure for end users. The candidate should have hands-on experience in desktop troubleshooting, hardware support, software installation, and user support.
Key Responsibilities
- Installation, configuration, and maintenance of desktops, laptops, and peripherals.
- Troubleshooting hardware, software, and operating system issues.
- Installation and support of Windows operating systems and business applications.
- User account management and password support.
- Printer installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
- Basic network troubleshooting (LAN, Wi-Fi, TCP/IP).
- Antivirus installation and endpoint security management.
- Asset management and documentation of IT equipment.
- Coordination with vendors for hardware repairs and replacements.
- Providing onsite and remote support to users.
- Ensuring timely closure of support tickets as per SLA.
Required Skills
- Knowledge of Windows 10/11 and Microsoft Office.
- Desktop and laptop hardware troubleshooting.
- Basic networking concepts (IP Address, DNS, DHCP).
- Printer and scanner support.
- Active Directory and Outlook support (preferred).
- Good communication and troubleshooting skills.
Experience
- 1–3 Years of Desktop Support Experience.
- Diploma, Graduate, or equivalent qualification in IT/Computer Science preferred.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
