Job Purpose
The Department of Social Sciences and Humanities at the Indraprastha Institute of
Information Technology (IIIT Delhi) is looking to hire TWO Part Time Teaching
Fellows.
Qualifications
TF Position-1 (Sociology)
A Master's degree (First Class) in Sociology, Anthropology, Gender Studies, Human
Geography, Development Studies, Political Science, Media Studies, or a related social
science discipline.
Strong academic performance in research methods courses.
Demonstrated knowledge of qualitative research methodologies, including:
- Ethnography | Action Research|Case Study
- Observation|Interviews|Focus Group Discussions
- Narrative and discourse analysis|Thematic analysis
Familiarity with research design, sampling strategies, ethics, informed consent, and
reflexivity. Familiarity with citation tools like medeley, Google scholar and Zotero.
Experience conducting independent qualitative research (Master's dissertation,
M.Phil., PhD, research projects, etc.).
Strong written and oral communication ability.
