Job Summary
Responsible for installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and servicing of industrial, marine, hydraulic, centrifugal, and mechanical pumps. Ensures pumps and related equipment operate efficiently and safely.
Key Responsibilities
* Install, dismantle, repair, and assemble different types of pumps
* Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of pumps and rotating equipment
* Inspect pump components such as bearings, seals, shafts, impellers, couplings, and valves
* Align pumps and motors using alignment tools
* Diagnose mechanical faults, leakage, vibration, overheating, and pressure issues
* Replace damaged parts and conduct testing after repair
* Read and understand mechanical drawings and maintenance manuals
* Maintain service records and maintenance reports
* Ensure safety procedures and workplace standards are followed
* Coordinate with supervisors and maintenance teams during shutdowns and repairs

Required Skills
* Knowledge of mechanical maintenance and rotating equipment
* Pump dismantling and overhauling experience
* Alignment and fitting skills
* Troubleshooting and fault-finding ability
* Knowledge of safety procedures
* Ability to use hand tools and measuring instruments
Qualification
* ITI / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field
* Experience in industrial, shipyard, marine, oil & gas, or manufacturing sectors preferred
Experience
* 2+ years experience in pump maintenance and repair preferred
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
Work Location: In person
