Position Overview
Al Qalam English School, Sion, Mumbai, an SSC curriculum school. is seeking applications from passionate, dedicated, and qualified educators to join our primary faculty. We are looking for teachers who can deliver high-quality instruction across all primary subjects while fostering an environment rooted in Islamic values and holistic growth.
Key Responsibilities
* Subject Instruction: Deliver engaging lessons across all primary grade subjects (English, Math, Science, Social Studies) in alignment with school standards.
* Classroom Management: Maintain a positive, organized, and disciplined classroom environment that encourages student participation and mutual respect.
* Holistic Child Development: Implement teaching strategies that cater to the intellectual, emotional, social, and spiritual needs of each child.
* Curriculum Integration: Seamlessly integrate Islamic ethics and values into daily lessons and activities.
* Assessment & Reporting: Regularly evaluate student progress through formal and informal assessments and provide constructive feedback to parents.
Required Qualifications & Experience
* Education: Minimum Graduation (B.A./B.Sc.) with a B.Ed. or D.El.Ed. (preferred).
* Experience: Previous experience teaching in an Islamic curriculum school setting is highly preferred.
* Skills: * Strong command over the English language (written and verbal).
* Proficiency in modern teaching aids and classroom technology.
* Deep understanding of child psychology and developmental milestones.
