The Senior Account Executive is responsible for managing daily accounting operations, ensuring accuracy in financial records, and supporting financial reporting activities. The role includes handling accounts payables/receivables, preparing GST/TDS workings, bank reconciliation, and supporting audits. The position also requires coordination with internal departments and vendors.
Key Responsibilities:1. Accounting & Financial Management
- Maintain daily accounting entries in ERP/Tally.
- Manage accounts receivables and payables to ensure timely payments and collections.
- Prepare and verify invoices, debit notes, and credit notes.
- Handle petty cash transactions and maintain proper records.
2. Reconciliation & Reporting
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations.
- Reconcile vendor and customer ledgers.
- Prepare financial statements, MIS reports, and ageing reports.
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities.
3. Taxation (GST/TDS)
- Prepare GST input/output reports and monthly GST returns.
- Handle TDS calculations, deductions, and challan preparation.
- Assist in filing TDS returns and resolving tax-related queries.
4. Compliance & Audit Support
- Coordinate with auditors for internal and statutory audits.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and statutory regulations.
- Maintain and update documentation for audit purposes.
5. Coordination & Communication
- Coordinate with vendors, customers, banks, and internal departments.
- Resolve account-related queries efficiently.
- Support management in preparing financial data, budgets, and forecasts.
Skills & Qualifications:
- B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance) or related field.
- 3–7 years of relevant accounting experience.
- Strong knowledge of Tally/ERP software.
- Good understanding of GST, TDS, and basic accounting principles.
- Excellent analytical and communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel
