Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and results-driven Project Manager to lead and manage construction projects from planning through completion. The ideal candidate will be responsible for project planning, budgeting, resource management, stakeholder coordination, and ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, execute, monitor, and successfully deliver construction projects.
- Develop project schedules, budgets, and execution plans.
- Coordinate with architects, consultants, clients, contractors, and subcontractors.
- Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to timelines and budgets.
- Lead site engineers and project teams to achieve project objectives.
- Conduct regular site visits to review work quality, safety, and progress.
- Manage procurement planning and coordinate material availability.
- Review engineering drawings, BOQs, contracts, and technical specifications.
- Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies.
- Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, safety standards, and quality requirements.
- Prepare weekly and monthly project progress reports for management and clients.
- Manage project documentation, approvals, change requests, and billing processes.
- Resolve technical and operational issues efficiently.
- Maintain strong client relationships and ensure customer satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (B.E./B.Tech).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in construction project management.
- Proven experience managing residential, commercial, or industrial construction projects.
- Strong understanding of construction methodologies, project planning, budgeting, and execution.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, BOQs, and contract documents.
- Proficiency in MS Project, AutoCAD, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Office.
- Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and decision-making skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in handling multiple construction projects simultaneously.
- Knowledge of project management methodologies and best practices.
- Familiarity with quantity surveying and cost control.
- Experience with ERP or construction management software.
- Strong vendor and contractor management skills.
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage stakeholder expectations.
