Key Responsibilities
1️ Payroll Processing
- Process monthly payroll for employees accurately and on time.
- Calculate earnings, deductions, overtime, incentives, bonuses, and reimbursements.
- Verify attendance, leave records, and salary inputs before processing payroll.
- Handle new joiners, exits, full & final settlements.
2️ Statutory Compliance
- Ensure compliance with PF, ESIC, PT, TDS, and other statutory regulations.
- Prepare and file statutory returns within deadlines.
- Maintain compliance documentation and records.
3️ Data Management
- Maintain and update payroll records in HRMS/payroll software.
- Generate salary slips and maintain employee salary structures.
- Ensure confidentiality of payroll data.
4️ Reporting & Reconciliation
- Prepare payroll reports for management and finance.
- Coordinate with accounts for salary disbursement and reconciliation.
- Assist during internal and external audits.
5️ Employee Coordination
- Address employee payroll-related queries.
- Provide clarification on salary components and deductions.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of payroll processing and statutory compliance.
- Good working knowledge of MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, formulas).
- Experience with payroll software/HRMS systems.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
