Job Summary
We are seeking a hardworking and enthusiastic Commis III Chef to join our kitchen team. This entry-level position supports daily food preparation, assists senior chefs, and helps maintain kitchen cleanliness, food quality, and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with basic food preparation, including cutting, chopping, and portioning ingredients.
- Prepare simple dishes and mise en place under the guidance of senior chefs.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, kitchen equipment, and storage areas.
- Follow recipes, portion controls, and presentation standards.
- Adhere to food safety, hygiene, and sanitation regulations at all times.
- Assist with receiving, storing, and rotating stock according to FIFO procedures.
- Support the kitchen team during service periods and perform assigned duties efficiently.
Requirements
- Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen operations.
- Understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and as part of a team.
- Willingness to learn and develop culinary skills.
- Culinary certification or hotel management qualification is an advantage
