Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluation of product, process, and assembly hierarchy to optimize hours per vehicle and cycle time
- Provide early-stage inputs to design teams on Design for Assembly (DFA) and Design for Manufacturing (DFM)
- Define assembly processes considering quality, safety, delivery, and ergonomics
- Associate part, tool, and quality attributes with process definitions
- Perform line balancing, TAKT time, and cycle time planning
- Execute time studies using MTM or MOST standards
- Drive continuous improvement by benchmarking with previous product lines and managing projects for delivery, quality, time, and innovation
Required Skills and Experience:
- Strong technical background in assembly planning, process engineering, and digital/virtual manufacturing
- Experience in automotive assembly domain with hands-on exposure to general assembly processes and problem resolution
- Proficiency in tools such as DELMIA V5, Process Simulate, Vismockup, Teamcenter Visualization, Human Jack, CATIA, NX/UG, AutoCAD
- Knowledge of digital mockup (DMU), assembly sequencing, ergonomic analysis, and virtual manufacturing engineering
- Experience in time study techniques (MTM/MOST preferred; certification desirable)
- Basic coding knowledge and proficiency in MS Office tools
- Strong communication, teamwork, presentation skills, and result-oriented mindset
