Job Description
We are looking for a motivated and result-oriented Academic Counsellor to guide students and parents regarding our courses and programs. The candidate will be responsible for understanding student requirements, providing counselling, following up on leads, and supporting students throughout the admission process.
Key Responsibilities
- Counsel students and parents regarding suitable courses and programs.
- Handle inbound and outbound calls and follow up with interested candidates.
- Understand students’ academic and career requirements and provide appropriate guidance.
- Explain course details, fees, benefits, and admission processes.
- Convert qualified leads into admissions.
- Maintain regular follow-ups and build strong relationships with students and parents.
- Achieve monthly counselling and admission targets.
- Update candidate details and follow-up status in the CRM or database.
- Coordinate with internal teams for a smooth admission and onboarding process.
Required Skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong counselling and convincing skills.
- Ability to handle objections and convert leads.
- Target-oriented and self-motivated.
- Basic knowledge of CRM and MS Office.
- Experience in EdTech, Education, Sales, or Counselling will be preferred.
Eligibility
- Graduate preferred.
- Freshers with excellent communication skills can also apply.
- Candidates with prior experience as an Academic Counsellor, Admission Counsellor, Education Counsellor, or Inside Sales Executive are preferred.
Pay: ₹35,374.02 - ₹60,461.49 per month
