Job Description:
The Warehouse Executive Trainer is responsible for delivering high-quality training programs for warehouse operations, logistics, inventory management, safety practices, and industry-standard procedures. The trainer will develop trainees’ practical and theoretical knowledge to prepare them for employment in warehousing and supply chain sectors.
Key Responsibilities
Training Delivery
- Conduct classroom and practical training sessions for Warehouse Executive candidates.
- Deliver training as per NSQF/SSC guidelines and curriculum standards.
- Demonstrate warehouse processes including:
- Goods receiving and dispatch
- Inventory management
- Stock verification
- Packaging and labeling
- Material handling
- Documentation procedures
Skill Development
- Train candidates on warehouse equipment usage and safety protocols.
- Develop employability skills, communication, teamwork, and workplace discipline.
- Conduct mock assessments and practical demonstrations.
Assessment & Evaluation
- Monitor trainee progress and maintain attendance and performance records.
- Prepare trainees for Sector Skill Council assessments and certifications.
- Conduct internal assessments and provide feedback for improvement.
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain training records, assessment reports, and batch documentation.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly training reports.
- Ensure compliance with training quality standards and audit requirements.
Industry Coordination
- Stay updated with latest warehouse technologies and logistics practices.
- Coordinate with placement and industry partners for trainee exposure and opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- Any Graduate/Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Warehouse Management, or related field.
- Certified Trainer qualification preferred (TOT/TOTA certified preferred).
- Minimum 2–5 years of experience in warehouse operations or logistics training.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of warehouse and inventory operations.
- Familiarity with ERP/WMS systems.
- Good communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to handle practical training sessions.
- Knowledge of workplace safety and compliance standards.
- Proficiency in MS Office and reporting tools.
Preferred Experience
- Experience working with Skill Development Projects (PMKVY, DDU-GKY, NSDC, etc.).
- Prior experience with Sector Skill Council training standards.
- Experience in candidate counseling and placement support.
