Job Description
As a Quality Engineer, you will help ensure the quality and reliability of our software products. You will use your expertise to meticulously test applications, identify and document defects, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide high-quality software solutions. Your problem-solving skills will maintain the integrity and performance of our applications.
You will report to Engineering Manager-IT. We will base you in Pune/Noida/Bangalore or Hyderabad, and you will work in a hybrid setting.
- Participate in standup meetings, sprint planning, story grooming sessions, team retrospectives, and implementing improvements.
- Working with business teams on programmes and how to approach them from a testing standpoint.
- Develop detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases based on project requirements and specifications.
- Ensure coverage of functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing.
- Develop test cases, scenarios, and scripts based on user stories, requirements, and technical specifications.
- Identify defects, ensure application functionality, and validate requirements through manual testing.
- Build tests in different environments and across multiple platforms to ensure compatibility and responsiveness.
- Identify, log, and track software defects.
- Provide detailed descriptions, steps to reproduce, and severity assessments for identified issues.
- Work with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and communicate testing progress.
- Present test reports to team members, highlighting main findings for improvement.
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent relevant experience
- 3 or more years' experience with manual testing
- English speaking and writing skills
- Individuals with 3 or more years of Hands-On Experience in Manual testing with Unit, System, Integration and Functional testing.
- Hands-On Experience with Automation Tools Playwright with C# Specflow Framework
- Hands-On Experience with Postman API Testing and REST API Automation using C#
- Good Knowledge on how to use JMeter for Performance Testing
- Knowledge of software QA Agile Methodologies and tools
- Knowledge on Test Case Management tool like QTest or Similar
- Solid knowledge on SQL to fetch the data by using queries and stored procedures
- Source Control: Azure DevOps/Git Hub Enterprise (Git), TFS
- Bachelor's Degree in Electronics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related subject
