Horizon Travels is a growing travel consultancy specializing in tourist visas, international travel, flight bookings, hotels, itineraries and personalized travel assistance.
We are looking for an experienced and highly capable Visa & Travel Consultant to join our team in Ahmedabad.
This is an opportunity for someone who understands the travel and visa industry and can independently handle clients and visa applications from initial consultation through to completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle tourist visa applications for destinations including the USA, Canada, UK, Schengen countries, Australia, Dubai and other international destinations
- Assess client profiles and provide accurate guidance on visa eligibility and documentation
- Prepare, review and organize visa application documents
- Identify potential weaknesses or issues in applications and advise clients accordingly
- Handle client communication, follow-ups and application updates
- Assist with visa forms, appointment scheduling and application processes
- Prepare travel itineraries and assist with international flight and hotel bookings
- Coordinate with clients, visa centres, embassies/consulates and relevant travel partners where required
- Maintain accurate records of client applications and follow-ups
- Contribute to sales and client conversion through professional consultation and relationship management
- Stay updated on changes to visa requirements, documentation and application procedures
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience in visa consultancy, immigration/travel consultancy or international travel
- Strong knowledge of tourist visa processes
- Experience handling visa applications independently
- Excellent communication skills in English, Hindi and/or Gujarati
- Strong attention to detail and documentation skills
- Ability to communicate professionally with clients
- Good understanding of international travel, flights and hotels
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of client cases
- Comfortable using computers, email and online application systems
Preferred Experience
Experience with US, Canada, UK or Schengen tourist visa applications will be highly valued.
We are particularly interested in candidates who can demonstrate strong practical knowledge rather than simply having worked in a travel office.
