About the Role
We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor to join our educational content team. The selected candidate will support the production of engaging and high-quality video content designed for digital learning platforms and online audiences.
Key ResponsibilitiesVideo Editing & Content Development
- Edit and refine raw footage into professional video content for educational and digital platforms.
- Work on lecture videos, explainer content, promotional videos, and short-form social media content.
- Perform basic colour correction and maintain visual consistency across projects.
- Add titles, transitions, graphics, captions, and audio enhancements where required.
- Ensure timely delivery while maintaining content quality and brand consistency.
Technical & Platform Support
- Use video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
- Prepare and optimize videos for multiple platforms including LMS portals, YouTube, and social media.
- Maintain organized project files and ensure proper version management.
Team Coordination
- Collaborate with content creators, academic teams, and marketing members to understand project requirements.
- Participate in creative planning, storyboarding, and content discussions.
- Contribute ideas related to video presentation, pacing, and viewer engagement.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Multimedia, Communication, Film Editing, or a related field is preferred.
- Prior experience in video editing or digital content production will be an advantage.
- Familiarity with professional video editing tools and workflows.
- Understanding of timelines, audio balancing, export formats, and video optimization.
- Good visual storytelling and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple assignments within deadlines.
- Team-oriented mindset with attention to detail.
