FRONT OFFICE FACULTY
Job Summary
The Front Office Faculty is responsible for delivering high-quality training in front office operations, customer service, communication skills, and hospitality standards. The faculty member will prepare students for careers in hotels, resorts, hospitals, corporate offices, and other service industries through classroom instruction, practical demonstrations, and industry-oriented training.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver classroom and practical training in Front Office Operations.
- Teach subjects such as Reception Management, Guest Relations, Telephone Etiquette, Reservation Procedures, and Customer Service.
- Train students in grooming standards, professional etiquette, and communication skills.
- Conduct practical sessions using front office software and equipment where applicable.
- Prepare lesson plans, study materials, assignments, and assessments.
- Evaluate student performance through tests, presentations, and practical examinations.
- Maintain student attendance, academic records, and progress reports.
- Guide students in interview preparation, resume writing, and placement readiness.
- Organize workshops, guest lectures, industrial visits, and skill development activities.
- Stay updated with hospitality industry trends and incorporate them into training.
- Coordinate with the placement team to support internships and employment opportunities.
- Ensure discipline and maintain a positive learning environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Hotel Management, Hospitality Management, Tourism, or a related field.
- Relevant teaching experience is preferred.
- Industry experience in hotel front office operations is an advantage.
- Certification in hospitality or customer service is desirable.
Required Skills

- Strong knowledge of front office procedures and hospitality standards.
- Good interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and hotel property management systems (PMS) is preferred.

Preferred Experience
- 1–5 years of experience in hotel front office operations or hospitality training.
- Experience in teaching or vocational training is an added advantage.
