A Pre-Sales Consultant in IT & Software acts as a bridge between the sales team and technical team. They help potential customers understand how the software solution can solve their business challenges before the purchase decision.
Key Responsibilities
- Understand customer business requirements and pain points.
- Conduct software product demonstrations and presentations.
- Prepare solution proposals, quotations, and RFP/RFQ responses.
- Work closely with sales, development, and implementation teams.
- Conduct Proof of Concept (POC) sessions.
- Explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Support the sales team during client meetings and negotiations.
- Assist in solution design and project estimations.
Required Skills
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Knowledge of software applications, ERP, CRM, or SaaS products.
- Basic understanding of databases, APIs, and software architecture.
- Requirement gathering and business analysis.
- Proposal writing and documentation.
- Customer relationship management.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Business, or related field.
- Experience in software sales, business analysis, customer support, or software implementation.
- Knowledge of technologies such as .NET, SQL Server, APIs, Cloud platforms, or ERP systems is an advantage.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
