Job Description
Funriders Leisure & Amusement Pvt. Ltd. is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager – Indoor Sales to manage inbound leads, walk-in clients, phone/email enquiries, and drive conversions from the office. This role is responsible for overseeing the indoor sales desk, coordinating with the outdoor field sales team, and ensuring smooth end-to-end deal closure.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and respond to inbound enquiries via phone, email, website, and walk-ins.
- Handle client meetings held at the office/showroom, understand requirements, and present suitable product/service solutions.
- Prepare and finalize quotations, proposals, and commercial terms; negotiate and close deals.
- Coordinate with the outdoor sales team to follow up on field-generated leads and ensure timely conversion.
- Maintain and manage the CRM/sales tracker, ensuring all client interactions and pipeline stages are updated.
- Guide and support junior indoor sales staff/executives in handling enquiries and closing sales.
- Set and monitor monthly/quarterly sales targets for the indoor sales function.
- Coordinate with operations, projects, and finance teams to ensure smooth order processing and after-sales support.
- Analyze sales data, conversion rates, and customer feedback to improve indoor sales processes.
- Prepare sales reports and present performance updates to senior management.
Skills & Competencies
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in English and Hindi (Malayalam an added advantage).
- Strong negotiation, client-handling, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to close sales and meet targets in an office/desk-based environment.
- Good leadership skills to guide a small indoor sales team.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in documentation and CRM management.
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software.
Experience
- Minimum 4 years of experience in Indoor Sales, Inside Sales, Business Development, or related client-facing roles, with some experience in a supervisory capacity preferred.
- B2B/B2C sales experience preferred.
- Experience coordinating with field/outdoor sales teams is an advantage.
