Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Draftsman to prepare technical drawings and plans based on specifications provided by engineers and architects. The candidate should have strong knowledge of drafting software and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed technical drawings, layouts, and plans using CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, etc.)
- Interpret and convert design concepts into accurate drawings
- Work closely with engineers, architects, and project teams
- Revise drawings based on feedback and project requirements
- Maintain drawing records and documentation systematically
- Ensure drawings comply with industry standards and regulations
- Assist in site measurements and design modifications if required
- Coordinate with production/installation teams for execution
Required Skills:
- Proficiency in AutoCAD (mandatory)
- Knowledge of SolidWorks / CATIA / other design tools (added advantage)
- Good understanding of engineering drawings and standards
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Basic knowledge of materials and manufacturing processes
- Good communication and teamwork skills
Educational Qualification:
- Diploma / ITI / BE in Mechanical, Civil, or related field
Experience:
- 2–5 years in drafting/design role (Freshers with strong skills can also apply)
Preferred Requirements:
- Experience in [Mechanical / Civil / Electrical] drafting
- Knowledge of 2D & 3D modeling
- Familiarity with industry-specific standards
