Electrical Maintenance Engineer at Dahej
Position Details
· Designation: Electrical Maintenance Engineer / Executive
· Experience: 2–5 Years
· Qualification: Diploma in Electrical Engineering
Key Responsibilities
· Carry out electrical maintenance of plastic processing machines including Blow
Moulding, Injection Moulding, Extrusion, Printing, and Utility equipment.
· Execute preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance activities to ensure
maximum machine availability and minimum downtime.
· Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults in PLC, HMI, VFD, servo drives, AC/DC
motors, sensors, heaters, thermocouples, control panels, and field instruments.
· Maintain electrical distribution systems including LT Panels, MCC, PCC, APFC
Panels, Transformers, Compressors, DG systems, and other utility equipment.
· Install, commission, modify, and upgrade electrical systems and production
machinery.
· Read, interpret, and update electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, single-line diagrams,
and control circuits.
· Monitor machine performance, analyze recurring issues, and implement corrective
actions to improve equipment reliability and productivity.
· Coordinate with production, mechanical, and maintenance teams to ensure smooth
plant operations.
· Maintain maintenance records, equipment history, and preventive maintenance
checklists.
· Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards, statutory regulations, and
company safety procedures.
· Identify and implement energy-saving initiatives and cost-reduction projects.
· Support continuous improvement activities including machine modifications and
automation enhancements.
· Ensure proper housekeeping and availability of critical electrical spare parts.
Required Skills
· Strong knowledge of industrial electrical maintenance.
· Hands-on experience with PLC, HMI, VFD, Servo Drives, Electrical Panels, and
Industrial Automation.
· Knowledge of LT Distribution, MCC, PCC, APFC Panels, Transformers, Motors, and
Utility Systems.
Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹500,000.00 per year
