Role description
The Junior MSD CRM Developer will support the implementation, customization, testing, and deployment of MSD CRM solutions. The role involves working under the guidance of senior developers and solution architects to configure CRM modules, develop custom components, support integrations, and ensure successful project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
CRM Development & Configuration
- Assist in configuring CRM entities, forms, views, dashboards, and workflows.
- Develop and maintain CRM customizations as per business requirements.
- Support implementation of customer service, case management, and customer interaction modules.
- Configure business rules and automate standard business processes.
- Participate in CRM enhancements and feature development activities.
Development & Integration Support
- Assist in developing APIs, web services, and integration components.
- Support data migration activities from legacy systems to MSD CRM.
- Perform development and unit testing of assigned components.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and support defect resolution.
Testing & Quality Assurance
- Prepare and execute unit test cases.
- Support System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Analyze and fix defects identified during testing cycles.
- Ensure compliance with development standards and coding guidelines.
Documentation
- Prepare technical documentation, configuration documents, and release notes.
- Maintain development artifacts and knowledge repositories.
- Document customizations, workflows, and integration components.
Deployment & Support
- Assist in deployment activities across Development, QA, UAT, and Production environments.
- Support go-live and hypercare activities.
- Monitor application performance and escalate issues when required.
Collaboration
- Work closely with Senior CRM Developers, Functional Consultants, Business Analysts, and Project Managers.
- Participate in project meetings, sprint planning, and status reviews.
- Contribute to knowledge-sharing and continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Technical Skills
- Basic understanding of CRM platforms and customer management processes.
- Knowledge of SQL and relational database concepts.
- Understanding of object-oriented programming concepts.
- Familiarity with C, .NET, JavaScript, HTML, and Web APIs.
- Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC).
Preferred Skills
- Exposure to Microsoft Dynamics CRM/MSD CRM development and configuration.
- Knowledge of customer service and case management processes.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Experience with source code management tools like Azure DevOps.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
- CRM certifications (preferred but not mandatory).
- Working in banking and finance domain will be an added value.
Experience
- 0–3 years of software development or CRM experience.
