JOB SUMMARY
The Assistant Professor / Lecturer will deliver theory and practical instruction, mentor students and support academic, training and placement-related activities within the School of Hotel Management.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Teach hospitality subjects through classroom, laboratory and practical sessions.
- Prepare lesson plans, learning materials, assignments, examinations and assessment records.
- Guide students in projects, internships, industrial training, grooming and placement readiness.
- Participate in admissions, academic administration, events, workshops and industry interaction.
- Maintain high standards of discipline, professional conduct and student engagement.
QUALIFICATION REQUIRED
- Master's degree in Hotel Management, Hospitality Management or an allied discipline from a recognized university.
- Bachelor's degree in Hotel / Hospitality Management or an equivalent professional qualification.
- REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
- Minimum 1-3 years of teaching experience and/or relevant hotel industry experience.
- Candidates with exposure to a reputed hotel brand or hospitality training institution will be preferred.
- Strong fresh candidates with relevant industry exposure may be considered for the Lecturer position.
CORE COMPETENCIES REQUIRED
- Strong subject knowledge in one or more areas: Front Office, Food Production, Food & Beverage Service, Housekeeping or Hospitality Operations.
- Effective classroom delivery, practical demonstration and student mentoring skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
- Competence in curriculum planning, assessment, academic documentation and digital teaching tools.
- Professional grooming, service orientation, teamwork, discipline and industry awareness.
