Job Description – Assistant Manager (Advertisement Sales – Navi Mumbai Region)
Purpose of the Job:
To drive advertising revenue growth across the Navi Mumbai region by acquiring new local business, managing existing client relationships, and promoting Sakal Media Group's print advertising solutions. The role focuses on expanding market presence, maximizing revenue opportunities, and ensuring strong client engagement within the assigned territory.

Department: Advertisement Sales (Local Team)
Location: Navi Mumbai
Team Collaboration:
Collaborates with Editorial, Circulation, Advertisement Scheduling, Billing & Recovery, Marketing, and Local Business Teams to achieve regional revenue targets and deliver effective advertising solutions.
Job Responsibilities:
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual advertisement revenue targets for the Navi Mumbai region.
- Generate new business through direct client acquisition and market development activities.
- Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing advertisers and local business clients.
- Identify opportunities across key categories such as Real Estate, Education, Retail, Healthcare, Automobile, BFSI, and Local Trade.
- Conduct regular client meetings, presentations, and sales pitches.
- Prepare proposals, negotiate commercial terms, and close advertising deals.
- Coordinate with Advertisement Scheduling and Editorial teams for timely campaign execution.
- Ensure timely collections and follow-up on outstanding payments.
- Track competitor activities, market trends, and category opportunities within the region.
- Maintain sales pipeline, client database, and periodic MIS reports.
Required Skills & ExperienceEducational Qualifications:
- Graduate in Marketing, Commerce, Business Administration, Mass Media, or related discipline.
- MBA preferred.
Experience:
- 3–6 years of experience in Advertisement Sales, Media Sales, Print Media, Radio, Digital Media, or related industries.
- Experience in local market sales and client acquisition preferred.
Technical Skills:
- Knowledge of print advertising sales processes.
- Client relationship management.
- Sales planning and revenue generation.
- Proposal preparation and negotiation.
- Basic CRM and reporting skills.
Soft Skills:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent negotiation and persuasion abilities.
