Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Purchase Executive to support our procurement and supply chain operations. The ideal candidate should be eager to learn, possess good communication skills, and have the ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in purchasing, supplier management, material planning, and supply chain processes within the EMS industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in procurement activities for electronic components, wire harness materials, mechanical parts, and production consumables.
- Follow up with suppliers for quotations, purchase orders, delivery schedules, and material availability.
- Coordinate with Production, Planning, Stores, Quality, and Engineering teams to ensure timely material procurement.
- Track multiple projects simultaneously and support material readiness for ongoing production requirements.
- Prepare and maintain purchase orders, vendor records, and procurement documentation.
- Monitor supplier commitments and proactively escalate potential delays or shortages.
- Support inventory monitoring and material planning activities.
- Participate in vendor communication and relationship management.
- Assist in identifying cost-effective sourcing opportunities.
- Maintain accurate procurement records and update ERP/MRP systems.
- Learn and understand procurement, supply chain, and inventory management processes.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Fresher or 0–2 years of experience in Purchase, Procurement, Supply Chain, Operations, or related functions.
- Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Commerce, Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related disciplines.
- Strong interest in pursuing a career in Procurement and Supply Chain Management.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects efficiently.
- Proactive attitude with strong ownership and follow-up skills.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Quick learner with a willingness to take initiative.
- Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to make timely decisions and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel, MS Office, and ERP systems is an added advantage.
