Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented and efficient Charge Entry Executive to join our Medical Billing team. The candidate will be responsible for accurately entering patient demographic details, medical charges, CPT/ICD codes, and insurance information into the billing system to ensure timely claim processing and reimbursement.
Key Responsibilities
- Enter medical charges, patient demographics, and insurance details into the billing software accurately.
- Review charge tickets, encounter forms, and medical records for completeness and accuracy.
- Verify CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS codes before charge posting.
- Ensure all charges are entered within TAT (Turnaround Time).
- Identify missing or incorrect information and coordinate with relevant teams/providers.
- Maintain accuracy and productivity targets as defined by management.
- Follow HIPAA guidelines and maintain patient data confidentiality.
- Assist in resolving billing discrepancies and rejected claims related to charge entry.
- Prepare daily productivity and quality reports.
Required Skills
- Good understanding of Medical Billing and Revenue Cycle Management (RCM).
- Knowledge of CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS coding basics.
- Familiarity with charge entry processes and insurance verification.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic computer knowledge and typing skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication and analytical skills.
Qualification
- Graduate / Undergraduate (preferably in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, or Healthcare-related field).
- Certification in Medical Billing/Coding is an added advantage.
Experience
- Fresher or 6 months – 2 years of experience in Medical Billing Charge Entry.
- Experience with US Healthcare process preferred.

Work Shift
Salary
- As per industry standards and experience.
5 days working ( Mon- Friday)
Pay: ₹14,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
