Job Summary
Lavanya Healthcare Limited is looking for a skilled and responsible Welder to join our Maintenance Department. The candidate will be responsible for welding, fabrication, repair, and maintenance work related to plant machinery, equipment, structures, and other maintenance requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform welding and fabrication work as per maintenance requirements.
- Carry out welding, cutting, grinding, and basic fabrication activities.
- Repair and maintain machinery, equipment, pipelines, frames, supports, and other metal structures.
- Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance-related welding work.
- Read and understand basic drawings, measurements, and welding requirements.
- Ensure proper welding quality, alignment, and finishing.
- Follow all safety procedures and use appropriate PPE while working.
- Maintain welding tools and equipment in proper working condition.
- Keep the work area clean and organized.
- Coordinate with the Maintenance Team for timely completion of assigned jobs.
- Follow company safety, quality, and workplace discipline requirements.
Educational Qualification
- ITI – Welder Trade from a recognized institute.
Experience
- Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in welding/fabrication or industrial maintenance.
- Experience in a manufacturing/industrial environment will be preferred.
Required Skills
- Good knowledge of welding and fabrication techniques.
- Ability to handle welding machines, cutting tools, grinders, and related equipment.
- Basic understanding of workplace safety.
- Good measurement and fitting skills.
- Responsible, disciplined, and hardworking.
- Ability to work independently as well as with a maintenance team.
Salary & Benefits
- Salary: ₹15,000 – ₹17,000 per month, depending on skills and experience.
