Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Manual Tester with 1 year of experience in software testing. The candidate will be responsible for validating software applications, identifying defects, executing test cases, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality products.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Analyze business requirements and functional specifications.
- Create, review, and execute test cases and test scenarios.
- Perform Functional Testing, Regression Testing, Smoke Testing, and Sanity Testing.
- Identify, document, and track defects using bug-tracking tools such as Jira.
- Verify bug fixes and perform retesting.
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to resolve issues.
- Participate in requirement review meetings and provide testing feedback.
- Prepare and maintain test execution reports and defect reports.
- Ensure software quality standards are met before release.
Required Skills
- 1 year of experience in Manual Testing.
- Good understanding of SDLC and STLC.
- Experience in writing and executing test cases.
- Knowledge of defect life cycle and bug reporting.
- Familiarity with Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar defect-tracking tools.
- Basic knowledge of SQL and database testing.
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodology.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in Web Application Testing.
- Basic knowledge of API Testing using Postman.
- Exposure to Mobile Application Testing.
- Knowledge of Test Management tools.
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
