Job Summary
We are hiring a skilled and dedicated OT Staff Nurse for our healthcare facility in Ashok Nagar, Chennai. The candidate will assist in surgical procedures, ensure strict infection control practices, and provide high-quality perioperative patient care. The role requires flexibility to work in rotational shifts, including night duties.
Key ResponsibilitiesPre-Operative Care
- Prepare OT by ensuring availability and sterilization of surgical instruments and equipment
- Verify patient identity, medical records, and consent forms
- Assist in pre-operative patient preparation and positioning
Intra-Operative Assistance
- Assist surgeons and anesthetists during surgical procedures
- Maintain sterile environment and adhere to infection control protocols
- Handle surgical instruments and ensure correct counts before and after procedures
- Monitor patient condition throughout surgery
Post-Operative Care
- Assist in transferring patients to recovery/ICU
- Monitor and document post-operative vitals
- Provide immediate post-surgical nursing support
General Responsibilities
- Maintain OT cleanliness and compliance with hospital/NABH standards
- Manage OT inventory and supplies
- Handle emergency situations efficiently
- Maintain accurate documentation and reports
Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
