Job Title: Neuro Technologist

Job Summary
The Neuro Technologist is responsible for performing, monitoring, and assisting in diagnostic neurophysiological proceduresrelated tests. This role ensures high-quality recordings, patient safety, accurate documentation, and adherence to clinical and regulatory standards.
Clinical & Technical
- Perform and assist neurodiagnostic procedures.
- Ensure proper electrode placement and signal quality for accurate data.
- Prepare patients for tests, explaining procedures clearly and addressing concerns.
- Monitor patients during procedures and promptly escalate any issues.
- Maintain calibration and functionality of neurodiagnostic equipment.
- Adhere to infection control and patient safety protocols.
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain accurate records of procedures and patient data.
- Prepare preliminary technical reports for neurologist review.
- Ensure confidentiality and secure management of sensitive data.
Coordination & Support
- Schedule procedures and coordinate with neurologists, nursing, and ward teams.
- Provide assistance for intraoperative monitoring as required.
- Support emergency neurodiagnostic needs when needed.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Proficiency in neurophysiology testing procedures.
- Hands-on experience neurophysiological proceduresrelated tests
- Strong communication and patient-care skills.
- Detail-oriented with accurate data recording.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary clinical team.
- Basic computer/EMR skills.
Experience Requirement
- Minimum 0–2 years of relevant experience in a hospital or diagnostic centre.
- Experience in a multi-specialty hospital preferred.
