Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Technology Strategist to drive technology vision, architecture planning, and strategic initiatives across our projects and internal platforms. The ideal candidate will bridge business objectives with technology solutions, guide technical decision-making, and mentor engineering teams while ensuring alignment with industry best practices.
This role is ideal for a senior technology professional who enjoys shaping technical direction, solving complex challenges, and influencing business growth through strategic technology initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and execute technology strategies aligned with business goals.
- Evaluate emerging technologies, frameworks, and tools for business adoption.
- Provide strategic guidance on cloud infrastructure, DevOps, SRE, AI, and software architecture.
- Collaborate with leadership to develop technology roadmaps and long-term plans.
- Review system architecture and recommend scalable, secure, and cost-effective solutions.
- Mentor engineering teams on best practices, architecture, and technical decision-making.
- Identify technology risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Support proposal development and provide technical consultation for client engagements.
- Improve engineering processes, governance, and development standards.
- Stay updated on industry trends and recommend innovations that enhance business competitiveness.
- Lead technology development initiatives and support business growth by providing technical direction, identifying innovation opportunities, and contributing to client solution development.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5–10 years of experience in software engineering, cloud technologies, DevOps, SRE, platform engineering, or technical consulting.
- Strong understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform).
- Experience with modern software architecture, microservices, APIs, and distributed systems.
- Knowledge of DevOps practices, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, and automation.
- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Experience in technical leadership, solution architecture, or technology consulting is highly preferred.
