Job Summary
The Sales Team Leader is responsible for leading, motivating, and managing the sales team to achieve revenue targets for embroidery machines and related products. This role involves developing sales strategies, identifying new business opportunities, building strong customer relationships, coaching sales executives, and ensuring excellent customer service throughout the sales process.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to increase market share and revenue.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the garment, textile, embroidery, and apparel manufacturing industries.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing customers while acquiring new clients.
- Conduct customer visits, product demonstrations, and sales presentations.
- Monitor sales performance and provide regular coaching and performance feedback.
- Prepare sales forecasts, reports, and market analysis for management.
- Ensure timely follow-up of sales inquiries, quotations, and customer requirements.
- Coordinate with the service and technical support teams to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Monitor competitor activities, pricing, and market trends.
- Assist in planning and executing exhibitions, trade fairs, product launches, and promotional events.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, pricing guidelines, and sales procedures.
- Handle customer complaints and resolve issues professionally.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5–8 years of sales experience, preferably in industrial machinery, textile machinery, embroidery machines, sewing equipment, or capital equipment sales.
- Minimum 2 years of experience leading a sales team is preferred.
Required Skills

- Excellent sales negotiation and closing skills.
- Knowledge of embroidery machines, textile machinery, or industrial equipment is an advantage.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Customer-focused with excellent relationship-building abilities.
- Ability to analyze sales data and market trends.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and CRM software.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Ability to travel extensively for customer visits and business development.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
