- Monitor and manage spare parts inventory to ensure optimal stock levels.
- Maintain accurate records of stock movement, usage, and reorder levels.
- Implement inventory control procedures to minimize losses and excess stock.
- Source and negotiate with suppliers for the best prices and delivery terms.
- Evaluate supplier performance and maintain strong supplier relationships.
- Ensure timely procurement to avoid operational disruptions.
- Supervise spare parts staff, including warehouse personnel and procurement officers.
- Develop and enforce standard operating procedures for parts management.
- Train staff on inventory systems and best practices.
- Prepare regular reports on stock levels, usage trends, and procurement costs.
- Analyze inventory data to identify opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency.
- Assist management in budget preparation for spare parts procurement.
- Ensure adherence to company policies and safety regulations in the storage and handling of parts.
- Maintain documentation for audits and compliance purposes.
