Role Objective
As a Site Supervisor at Houseway Interiors, you will bridge the gap between our design floor and on-site physical builds. You will be responsible for translating 2D drawings and 3D designs into flawlessly executed reality, managing labor teams, enforcing strict quality benchmarks, and ensuring projects are completed on schedule.
Key Responsibilities
1. On-Site Technical Supervision & Execution
- Understand, interpret, and explain technical 2D layout drawings, electrical/plumbing markings, and design specifications to on-site execution teams and laborers.
- Oversee the marking, assembly, and installation of custom woodwork, false ceilings, flooring, and modular installations.
- Verify structural alignments and site measurements prior to installation to eliminate execution errors.
2. Quality Assurance & Material Verification
- Conduct rigorous, daily site inspections to ensure that workmanship aligns strictly with the firm's premium benchmarks.
- Ensure proper installation techniques are followed (e.g., verifying dual-laminated plywood structures, checking precision alignment of PVC edge banding tapes, and inspecting soft-close hardware configurations).
- Audit delivered materials to ensure the correct material grade, laminate textures, and hardware brands are utilized as per the finalized client invoice.
3. Vendor, Production, & Supply Chain Coordination
- Collaborate closely with modular production factories and vendors to coordinate the seamless arrival, handling, and unloading of factory-engineered elements.
- Act as the direct on-site point of contact for contractors, carpenters, electricians, and painters to ensure uninterrupted workflow.
- Manage end-to-end material tracking on site—from sourcing verification to inventory optimization—minimizing wastage and reporting immediate shortages.
4. Timeline & Reporting Management
- Monitor project milestones daily to ensure delivery stays strictly within the committed timeline.
- Provide daily site progress updates, photos, and report structural anomalies or delays directly to the management team.
- Resolve on-ground operational bottlenecks or worker disputes professionally and efficiently.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Experience: 1-3 years of proven experience as a Site Supervisor, Project Coordinator, or Senior Carpenter in residential/commercial interior design or construction.
- Technical Skills: Strong ability to read complex architectural blueprints, 2D technical layout drawings, and detailed sections. Familiarity with modular kitchen and wardrobe assemblies is highly valued.
- Communication & Demeanor: Excellent team handling skills with a firm, professional, and respectful demeanor. Must remain professional and calm under pressure when interacting with clients and workers on site.
- Mobility: Must possess a valid driving license and personal two-wheeler for frequent travel across various project sites in Hyderabad.
- Education: Diploma in Civil Engineering, Interior Design, ITI Carpentry, or an equivalent technical field preferred.

- Separate Site Travel Allowance provided on an actual-use basis for field visits.
