Position – Accounts Head

Position Overview
We are looking for an experienced and highly responsible Accounts Head to lead and manage the complete accounting, finance, taxation, compliance, and financial control functions of the organization. The candidate should be capable of independently handling company accounts, statutory compliances, financial planning, audits, MIS reporting, and team coordination while ensuring accuracy, transparency, and cost control across all financial operations.
The ideal candidate should possess strong leadership skills, analytical thinking, commercial understanding, and the ability to manage CA-level responsibilities efficiently.
Key Responsibilities1. Financial & Accounting Management
- Manage complete accounting operations including bookkeeping, ledger scrutiny, reconciliations, and finalization of accounts.
- Oversee Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), banking, cash flow, and fund management.
- Prepare and review Profit & Loss statements, Balance Sheets, Cash Flow Statements, and MIS reports.
- Ensure timely month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Monitor financial transactions and ensure accounting accuracy.
- Develop and implement internal financial controls and accounting systems.
- Maintain proper accounting records, supporting documents, and audit trails.
2. Taxation & Statutory Compliance
- Handle GST, TDS, Income Tax, PT, PF, ESIC, and other statutory compliances.
- Ensure timely filing of GST returns, TDS returns, and other statutory submissions.
- Coordinate with CA, auditors, consultants.
- Prepare audit schedules and documentation for internal and external audits.
- Ensure compliance with all statutory, regulatory, and financial requirements.
- Monitor notices, assessments, and compliance-related matters.
3. Budgeting, Cost Control & Financial Planning
- Prepare annual budgets, expense forecasts, and financial projections.
- Monitor operational expenses and implement cost-control measures.
- Analyze vehicle operational costs, fuel expenses, vendor costs, and profitability.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to management for decision-making.
- Ensure financial discipline and optimize working capital management.
4. Vendor, Customer & Employee Account Management
- Supervise invoicing, billing, collections, and payment processing.
- Monitor customer outstanding payments and ensure strong follow-up for collections.
- Maintain vendor payment schedules and account reconciliations.
- Resolve account-related queries from customers, vendors, and employees.
- Ensure proper documentation and approvals before payment processing.
5. Banking & Cash Flow Management
- Manage banking transactions, fund transfers, cheque processing, and reconciliations.
- Maintain daily cash flow monitoring and liquidity planning.
- Coordinate with banks for loan, OD, BG, and financial documentation requirements.
- Ensure timely vendor payments and salary disbursements.
6. Legal & Documentation Management
- Handle accounting-related agreements, contracts, and legal documentation.
- Coordinate with legal advisors regarding registrations, agreements, and compliance matters.
- Maintain all company licenses, statutory records, and compliance documents.
7. Team Management & Process Improvement
- Lead and manage the accounts team effectively.
- Allocate responsibilities and monitor team performance.
- Develop accounting SOPs and improve financial processes.
- Ensure smooth coordination with operations, HR, and management teams.
- Train and guide junior team members on accounting practices and compliance.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce.CA Inter / CA Final appeared / MBA Finance candidates preferred.
- 5–10+ years of relevant accounting and finance experience.
- Experience in logistics, transportation, or cold chain industry preferred.
- Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax, audits, and statutory compliances.
- Expertise in Tally, ERP systems, MS Excel, and accounting software.
- Strong analytical, leadership, and decision-making abilities.
- Excellent communication, coordination, and negotiation skills.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
