Job Summary
Seth M.R. Jaipuria School, Sahaswan is looking for a passionate and talented Music Teacher to inspire students through vocal and instrumental music. The ideal candidate should be capable of nurturing creativity, preparing students for performances and competitions, and fostering an appreciation for music across different age groups.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach vocal and instrumental music to students across various grades.
- Plan and conduct engaging music lessons aligned with the school's curriculum.
- Prepare students for annual functions, assemblies, cultural events, and inter-school competitions.
- Train the school choir and music groups.
- Encourage creativity, confidence, and teamwork through music.
- Maintain music instruments and ensure proper care of music resources.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Collaborate with teachers and school leadership to organize cultural activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Music or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in a reputed school (preferred).
- Proficiency in vocal music and at least one musical instrument (Keyboard/Piano/Guitar preferred).
- Strong communication and classroom management skills.
- Passion for working with children and promoting performing arts.
