Job Title: Physician Assistant (PA)
Job Summary: The Physician Assistant (PA) is a licensed healthcare provider who works closely with physicians, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients. The PA is responsible for performing medical assessments, diagnosing and treating illnesses, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, assisting in surgeries, prescribing medications, and providing patient education. PAs are critical members of the healthcare team, ensuring high-quality care and contributing to the efficiency of medical practices.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Patient Care and Medical Assessments:
- Perform detailed patient histories and physical examinations.
- Assess symptoms, diagnose medical conditions, and formulate treatment plans in collaboration with physicians.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests (e.g., lab work, X-rays, imaging).
- Provide treatment and care for acute and chronic conditions, both independently and under the supervision of a physician.
2. Medical Procedures:
- Perform or assist with various medical procedures such as suturing, wound care, joint injections, biopsies, and minor surgeries.
- Administer injections, immunizations, and other treatments as prescribed.
- Assist in surgeries as necessary, including pre-operative and post-operative care.
3. Patient Education and Counseling:
- Educate patients and families about medical conditions, treatments, preventive health measures, and lifestyle changes.
- Discuss the risks, benefits, and potential outcomes of treatments and procedures.
- Provide counseling on wellness, disease prevention, and chronic disease management.
4. Prescriptions and Medication Management:
- Prescribe medications and therapies based on clinical assessments.
- Monitor patients for medication efficacy and side effects, adjusting prescriptions as needed.
- Provide guidance on proper medication use, dosages, and potential interactions.
5. Collaboration with Healthcare Teams:
- Work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement comprehensive patient care plans.
- Participate in medical rounds and provide input on patient progress and treatment modifications.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team to ensure continuity of care.
6. Record Keeping and Documentation:
- Document patient encounters, diagnoses, treatments, and progress notes accurately in electronic health records (EHR).
- Ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards of documentation and patient confidentiality (HIPAA).
- Prepare medical reports, referral letters, and other necessary documentation.
7. Emergency Care and Critical Situations:
- Respond to medical emergencies by providing initial care, stabilization, and support.
- Manage trauma, acute medical events, and urgent care situations as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Monitor patient vitals and make necessary adjustments to care plans during emergencies.
8. Administrative Duties:
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and patient safety programs.
- Stay informed about changes in healthcare regulations, treatment protocols, and medical advancements.
- Assist in administrative tasks such as scheduling, patient follow-ups, and coordinating referrals.
9. Professional Development:
- Continuously pursue continuing medical education (CME) to stay current with medical advances and maintain licensure.
- Participate in workshops, seminars, and other educational opportunities to improve clinical skills.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
