About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Account Executive – Bookkeeping to join our Australian Accounting team. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience managing bookkeeping for Australian clients and possess a strong understanding of Australian accounting standards, GST, payroll, and cloud-based accounting software.
This role requires excellent analytical skills, accuracy, the ability to work independently, and a commitment to meeting client deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end bookkeeping for Australian clients.
- Process day-to-day financial transactions accurately and on time.
- Perform bank, credit card, loan, and inter-company reconciliations.
- Prepare and maintain general ledger accounts.
- Record journals, accruals, prepayments, and depreciation entries.
- Prepare and lodge Business Activity Statement (BAS) working papers.
- Process payroll and ensure compliance with Australian payroll regulations.
- Superannuation and STP (Single Touch Payroll) knowledge will be an advantage.
- Maintain accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Perform month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Prepare management reports and financial reports as required.
- Coordinate with Australian clients via email and virtual meetings.
- Identify discrepancies and resolve accounting issues proactively.
- Ensure compliance with Australian accounting practices and internal quality standards.
- Assist junior team members by providing guidance and reviewing their work when required.
- Meet client deadlines while maintaining high levels of accuracy.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- B.COM/M.COM/ MBA (Finance)/CA (Dropped Out)
- Minimum 2+ years of hands-on experience in Australian Bookkeeping is mandatory.
- Strong understanding of Australian accounting principles and GST.
- Experience in BAS preparation and bookkeeping procedures.
- Working knowledge of Australian payroll processes.
- Excellent reconciliation and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple client portfolios.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
Software Knowledge
Candidates should have hands-on experience with one or more of the following:
- Xero
- MYOB
- QuickBooks Online
- Microsoft Excel (Intermediate to Advanced)
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Experience working in an Australian Accounting/KPO/BPO environment.
- Ability to handle multiple clients simultaneously.
- Strong problem-solving and time management skills.
- Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and grow.
- Team player with excellent organizational skills.

Mandatory Requirement
Only candidates with a minimum of 2 years of Australian Bookkeeping experience will be considered.
Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
