Job Summary
The MEP Project Head is responsible for planning, execution, monitoring, and successful delivery of all Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) works for metro rail projects. The role involves managing design coordination, project execution, stakeholder management, quality assurance, safety compliance, budgeting, and timely completion of MEP systems in accordance with contract requirements and applicable standards.
Key Responsibilities
· Lead end-to-end execution of MEP works for metro rail projects.
· Develop project execution strategies, schedules, and resource plans.
· Monitor project progress, milestones, and deliverables to ensure timely completion.
· Coordinate with civil, track, signaling, telecom, and other stakeholders for seamless integration.
· Review and approve MEP designs, drawings, specifications, and technical submissions.
· Coordinate with consultants, clients, and design teams for design approvals and changes.
· Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and contractual requirements.
· Oversee installation, testing, commissioning, and handover of MEP systems.
· Manage subcontractors, vendors, and project teams.
· Resolve technical and operational challenges at project sites.
· Monitor project budgets, cost controls, and profitability.
· Review contracts, variation orders, claims, and commercial risks.
· Support procurement activities and vendor negotiations.
· Ensure adherence to quality management systems and project specifications.
· Implement and monitor HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) requirements.
· Conduct regular audits, inspections, and risk assessments.
· Serve as the primary interface with clients, consultants, authorities, and internal teams.
· Present project status reports and participate in review meetings.
· Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.
· Lead and mentor project managers, engineers, and site teams.
· Drive performance, productivity, and professional development.
· Foster a culture of safety, quality, and accountability.
· MEP systems design and execution.
· Testing & commissioning of HVAC, Electrical, Fire Fighting, Plumbing, and ELV systems.
· Project planning tools such as Primavera P6 and MS Project.
· Contract and commercial management.
· Knowledge of relevant metro rail and infrastructure standards.
· Flexible for relocation
Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹1,100,000.00 per year
