We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Human Resources Executive to manage and support the HR functions of our 3-star hotel in Kottayam. The ideal candidate should have prior experience in the hospitality industry and a strong understanding of HR operations, employee relations, and compliance.
This role plays a key part in developing a positive workplace culture and ensuring smooth HR operations that support guest satisfaction and business goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process including sourcing, screening, and onboarding of hotel staff
- Maintain and update employee records and HR databases
- Implement and monitor HR policies, procedures, and compliance with labor laws
- Handle employee relations, grievance handling, and conflict resolution
- Coordinate training and development programs for hotel staff
- Support performance management and appraisal processes
- Administer employee benefits, payroll coordination, and attendance systems
- Ensure smooth induction and orientation programs for new hires
- Act as a bridge between management and employees to maintain a healthy work environment
- Assist in HR reporting and documentation for management review
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- 2–5 years of HR experience, preferably in the hotel/hospitality industry
- Strong knowledge of labor laws and compliance requirements
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism
- Proficiency in MS Office and HR systems
