QA Tester (Manual/Automation)

Job Summary
We are looking for a Quality Assurance (QA) Tester with 4 years of experience in software testing. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring application quality through test planning, execution, defect tracking, and collaboration with development teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and execute test cases and test scenarios.
- Perform Functional, Regression, Integration, Smoke, and UAT testing.
- Identify, log, and track defects using JIRA or similar tools.
- Validate bug fixes and ensure quality standards are met.
- Conduct API testing using Postman.
- Perform database validation using SQL queries.
- Collaborate with developers, Business Analysts, and Product teams.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies.
Required Skills
- 4+ years of Manual Testing experience.
- Strong knowledge of STLC and Defect Life Cycle.
- Functional, Regression, Smoke, and Integration Testing.
- JIRA or other defect tracking tools.
- API Testing using Postman.
- SQL for database testing.
- Agile/Scrum methodology.
Good to Have
- Selenium Automation Testing.
- Cypress or Playwright.
- Jenkins/CI-CD knowledge.
- ISTQB Certification.
Qualification
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field.
