The Interior Site Supervisor is responsible for managing site activities from the initial site visit through project execution. The role includes conducting site inspections, taking accurate site measurements, performing site marking/layout as per approved drawings, coordinating material requirements, and ensuring timely material segregation and availability. The supervisor works closely with the carpentry team and other site personnel to ensure smooth execution, maintain quality standards, and complete projects within the scheduled timeline.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise interior fit-out works including false ceiling, flooring, painting, carpentry, modular furniture, electrical, plumbing, glazing, and finishing works.
Monitor daily site activities and ensure work progress matches the project schedule.
Coordinate with designers, architects, project managers, contractors, and subcontractors.
Read and interpret architectural and interior drawings.
Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality workmanship and compliance with specifications.
Ensure availability of materials, tools, and manpower at site.
Maintain site safety standards and enforce safety procedures.
Prepare daily progress reports, material usage reports, and site documentation.
Identify site issues and coordinate timely resolution to avoid delays.
Verify measurements and quantities for billing and contractor payments.
Attend client and consultant meetings when required.
Required Skills
Knowledge of interior fit-out execution and finishing works.
Ability to read AutoCAD drawings and BOQs.
Strong coordination and communication skills.
Basic understanding of electrical and plumbing systems in interiors.
Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Time management and team supervision skills.
Qualifications
Diploma / Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Interior Design, or a related field.
Additional certification in construction safety or project management is an advantage.
Experience
0–1 years of experience in interior fit-out / site supervision.
Experience in residential, commercial, office, retail, or hospitality interior projects preferred.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
