JOB DESCRIPTION – OPD NURSE
1 Outpatient (OP) Management
Manage and assist patients visiting for consultations.
Guide patients regarding their waiting times and ensure smooth
coordination with doctors.
Coordinate with doctors for earwax removal and other minor
procedures.
Provide snacks to patients during their waiting period, ensuring comfort
and care.
2 Coordination with Doctors and DMOs
Collaborate with doctors and Duty Medical Officers (DMOs) to streamline
patient care and consultations.
Ensure all necessary preparations are made for procedures such as
suture removal and endoscopies.
Coordinate with doctors to provide patients with VLS (Video Laryngeal
Stroboscopy) and VOS (Video Otoscope Stroboscopy) reports.
3 Endoscopy Management
Assist in endoscopies, including VOS, VLS, and DNA (Deoxyribonucleic
Acid) procedures.
Take endoscopy photos and videos from the system as required and
maintain them systematically.
Send instruments used in endoscopies for proper cleaning and
sterilization.
4 Patient Documentation and Reports
Maintain detailed documentation of patient records, including BMI (Body
Mass Index) reports like height and weight.
Take and manage all patient details and ensure proper documentation
for procedural follow-ups.
