Junior IT Assistant
Department: Infrastructure Team
Reporting To: IT Manager (Direct Reporting)

Job Purpose:
The Junior IT Assistant will be responsible for providing end-user IT support, maintaining IT infrastructure, and ensuring smooth day-to-day IT operations across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
1. User IT Onboarding & Off boarding
· Manage the onboarding and off boarding process for new and departing employees.
· Ensure proper system access, software installation, and user profile setup.
· Ensure smooth transition of data and accounts for users leaving the organization.
2. Desktop, Laptop, and All-in-One System Troubleshooting
· Provide technical support and resolution for hardware and software issues on desktops, laptops, and all-in-one systems.
· Diagnose and repair system failures and network connectivity issues.
3. Printer Installation & Maintenance
· Install, configure, and maintain All-in-One and network printers.
· Provide ongoing support and troubleshoot printer-related issues, ensuring minimal downtime.
4. Network Setup & Configuration
· Set up and configure local area networks (LAN) and Wi-Fi for both new deployments and the management of existing systems.
· Assist with network issues and ensure systems are connected and secure.
5. VPN Configuration & Remote Support
· Troubleshoot and resolve VPN connectivity issues for remote users.
· Provide end-user support and guidance for VPN setup and usage.
6. CCTV Configuration & Setup
· Install and configure CCTV systems for new office locations.
· Provide technical support for CCTV systems, ensuring proper functionality and manage up time.
7. Email Configuration & Backup Support
· Configure Outlook and email systems, ensuring proper integration for all users.
· Provide backup support and ensure email data is securely stored and accessible.
8. System Backup Management
· Implement and manage regular system backups, ensuring that all critical data is securely stored.
· Oversee system backup procedures and assist with data recovery when needed.
9. Software Management & Licensing
· Handle the installation and management of licensed software based on user needs.
· Maintain records of software usage and licenses to ensure compliance
10. User Activity Monitoring
· Monitor user system usage to ensure compliance with company IT policies and security standards.
· Provide reports on system usage and identify any irregularities or inefficiencies.
11. Data Backup & Employee Exit Management
· Manage the backup and transfer of data for employees who have resigned or are on notice.
· Ensure proper data security measures are in place when handling exit procedures.
12. Reporting & Coordination
· Provide real-time updates on ongoing tasks and issues to IT leadership.
· Submit daily task completion and status reports to management for review and follow-up
Skills & Experience
- Minimum 2 years of relevant IT support experience is mandatory
- Experience in desktop/laptop troubleshooting, networking, VPN, and email support
- Knowledge of Windows OS, hardware, printers, Network and CCTV systems
- Ability to provide remote technical support to end users
- Good documentation and reporting skills
Working Hours & Leave Policy
- Office Timings: 9:30 AM to 7:30 PM (Day Shift)
- Working Days: Monday to Saturday
- Paid Holiday: Second Saturday only
- All other Saturdays are working days
- Weekly Off: Sunday

- Strict adherence to IT policies and company rules is mandatory
- Personal calls, chit-chat, or non-work-related activities during working hours are not permitted
- The employee must follow instructions only from the reporting IT Manager
- Professional behavior and confidentiality must be maintained at all times
Location
Temporary Location JS Tower, HSR Layout, Bengaluru. Permanent Location CS, Sarjapura Road, Bengaluru.
Pay: ₹20,819.00 - ₹30,147.69 per month
