As a Centre Head, you will play a pivotal role in managing day-to-day operations, ensuring seamless coordination between staff, learners, and parents, while driving the academy’s growth and success.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct guitar training sessions for students in onsite formats.
- Teach music fundamentals, chords, scales, rhythm, strumming, fingerstyle, and guitar techniques.
- Train students in sight reading, ear training, improvisation, and performance skills.
- Prepare students for recitals, performances, and music assessments.
- Plan and deliver structured lesson plans based on student skill levels.
- Provide regular feedback and progress updates to students.
- Encourage creativity, musical expression, and confidence in students.
Requirements
- 2–4 years of experience in guitar teaching or music training.
- Strong knowledge of guitar techniques, music theory, and Western music styles.
- Ability to conduct in-person classroom sessions at the center.
- Good communication and student engagement skills.
- Certification from Trinity College London or ABRSM with Grade 7 or above, or formal music training, is an added advantage.
Preferred Skills
- Experience teaching beginner and intermediate students.
- Passion for music education and student development.
- Experience preparing students for music grade examinations such as Trinity or ABRSM.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
