Role Overview
Tecnotree is looking for a high-impact Presales Manager based in Bangalore to drive solutioning and deal conversion across global telecom markets. Operating from Tecnotree's India hub, this role will engage with telecom operators and prospects across multiple regions, including APAC, the Middle East, Africa, and beyond.
This role sits at the intersection of sales, product, and delivery, and requires a professional who can own presales engagements end-to-end, shape customer requirements, and position Tecnotree's Digital BSS stack in competitive pursuits. The ideal candidate brings strong telecom BSS expertise, exposure to diverse global markets, and the ability to influence both technical and business stakeholders across geographies.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and drive end-to-end presales engagements for telecom BSS opportunities across global markets
- Partner with sales to qualify opportunities, shape deal strategy, and define win themes
- Engage with customers to understand business challenges, IT landscape, and transformation goals
- Design end-to-end BSS solutions and architectures aligned to Tecnotree's product suite
- Lead solution positioning, storytelling, and value articulation during client interactions
- Deliver high-impact presentations, demos, and workshops for CXO and senior stakeholders
- Lead and coordinate RFP/RFI responses, including solution design, effort estimation, and risk identification
- Work closely with product, engineering, and delivery teams to ensure solution feasibility and differentiation
- Support commercial structuring by defining scope, assumptions, dependencies, and cost drivers
- Conduct competitive analysis and market intelligence to strengthen Tecnotree's positioning globally
- Build and maintain reusable solution assets, templates, and knowledge repositories
- Mentor junior presales or solution consultants where applicable
Skills & Competencies
- Strong expertise in Telecom BSS domains: CRM, Billing, Charging, Order Management & Fulfilment, Digital BSS / Customer Experience Platforms
- Proven ability to design scalable, end-to-end telecom solutions
- Strong consultative selling and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to engage with both technical teams and business/CXO stakeholders
- Solid understanding of commercial constructs and deal dynamics
- Experience in handling complex RFP/RFI processes
- Excellent communication, storytelling, and presentation skills
- High ownership mindset with the ability to operate effectively across time zones and geographies
Experience & Qualifications
- 8–12 years of experience in Presales / Solution Consulting within telecom
- Mandatory experience in Telecom BSS solutions
- Exposure to global or multi-regional telecom markets preferred; APAC, Middle East, or Africa experience is an advantage
- Experience working with telecom vendors, system integrators, or operators
- Track record of supporting large/complex deal closures
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Telecommunications, or related field
Good to Have
- Experience working with telecom platforms across BSS/OSS domains or adjacent technologies within the telecom ecosystem
- Exposure to cloud-native / SaaS BSS architectures
- Understanding of 5G monetisation, digital services, and ecosystem partnerships
- Familiarity with regional operators across APAC, Middle East, or Africa (e.g. Axiata, Maxis, CelcomDigi, Singtel Group, Airtel, Jio, Zain, MTN, etc.)
