Functional Skills & Responsibilities Planning, execution, and supervision of structural erection works related to highway infrastructure projects such as minor bridges, culverts, drains, retaining walls, RCC structures, precast structures, and associated civil works. Responsible for complete site management of structure erection activities including manpower handling, subcontractor coordination, material planning, equipment deployment, and execution monitoring. Supervision of erection and installation activities for RCC/PSC components, girders, precast elements, shuttering, reinforcement, and concrete-related works as per approved drawings and project specifications. Monitoring daily project progress and ensuring work completion within scheduled timelines while maintaining quality and safety standards. Conducting site inspections, reviewing structural drawings, BOQ, technical specifications, and coordinating with design consultants and project teams for smooth execution. Experience in quantity survey, rate analysis, bill of quantity (BOQ), reconciliation of materials, and preparation of project progress reports. Knowledge of highway structure construction methodologies, erection sequencing, bar bending schedule (BBS), concreting practices, and drainage/culvert execution works. Managing project resources efficiently including labor, machinery, vendors, and subcontractors to achieve project targets. Ensuring compliance with quality control procedures, safety regulations, and client requirements during all phases of erection and structural works. Coordinating with clients, consultants, and internal departments for approvals, billing, measurement verification, and project documentation. Strong understanding of project planning, site administration, tendering support, contract management, and execution strategy for infrastructure structure works. Ability to lead site teams, assign responsibilities, monitor performance, and maintain smooth coordination across departments. Must have sound knowledge of civil engineering practices, structural erection techniques, project management principles, and relevant safety standards applicable to highway and infrastructure projects.
